Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced MFT Specialist to design, implement, and support enterprise Managed File Transfer solutions that enable secure, reliable data exchange with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities include managing Axway Secure Transport and IBM Sterling Integrator, configuring SFTP/AS2/FTPS, leading onboarding of trading partners, and ensuring HIPAA-compliant secure data exchange while improving reliability and performance of MFT operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with MFT tools (Axway Secure Transport and/or IBM Sterling Integrator).
• Strong knowledge of SFTP, AS2, and other file transfer protocols.
• Hands-on experience with IBM Transformation Extender (ITX), ITX Advanced (ITXA), and/or Sterling Integrator Mapping tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support MFT platforms (Axway Secure Transport and/or IBM Sterling Integrator).
• Configure and maintain file transfer protocols (SFTP, AS2, FTPS, HTTPS).
• Lead end-to-end partner onboarding: connectivity setup, partner configuration, file routing and validation, testing and deployment.
• Ensure secure data exchange in compliance with HIPAA standards.
• Monitor file transfers, troubleshoot failures, and ensure SLA adherence.
• Perform incident management with focus on reducing MTTR (ServiceNow).
• Build and enhance monitoring, alerting, and logging for proactive issue detection.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to support data exchange requirements.
• Drive automation of onboarding and operational processes to reduce manual effort.
• Support reliability and scalability improvements in MFT operations.

Job description

Responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions to enable secure, reliable, and scalable data exchange with internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support MFT platforms (Axway Secure Transport and/or IBM Sterling Integrator)
• Configure and maintain file transfer protocols (SFTP, AS2, FTPS, HTTPS)
• Lead end-to-end partner onboarding, including:
• Connectivity setup
• Trading partner configuration
• File routing and validation
• Testing and production deployment
• Ensure secure data exchange in compliance with enterprise and regulatory (HIPAA) standards
• Monitor file transfers, troubleshoot failures, and ensure SLA adherence
• Perform incident management and resolution (ServiceNow) with focus on reducing MTTR
• Build and enhance monitoring, alerting, and logging for proactive issue detection
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to support data exchange requirements
• Drive automation of onboarding and operational processes (COLA initiatives) to reduce manual effort
• Support continuous improvement in reliability, performance, and scalability of MFT operations

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with MFT tools (Axway Secure Transport and/or IBM Sterling Integrator)
• Strong knowledge of SFTP, AS2, and other file transfer protocols
• Hands-on experience with IBM Transformation Extender (ITX), ITX Advanced (ITXA), and/or Sterling Integrator Mapping tools.
• Strong experience designing and supporting complex data transformations between multiple file formats, including EDI, XML, JSON, CSV, and Fixed-Length files
• Understanding of EDI transaction sets and data mapping concepts
• Experience with partner onboarding and production support environments
• Understanding of EDI transactions (X12) and secure data exchange
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in Agile environments
