Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced IBM Maximo Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of end-to-end enterprise asset management (EAM) solutions. This role is pivotal in aligning Maximo capabilities with strategic business objectives and delivering scalable, secure, and maintainable asset management solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and lead enterprise-wide Maximo EAM solutions aligned with business and industry best practices.
• Translate business requirements into scalable Maximo configurations and customizations.
• Define the technical architecture, including integrations, data models, and security frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT and business units to ensure successful delivery.
• Lead solution blueprinting, documentation, and configuration efforts.
• Provide strategic guidance on system upgrades, enhancements, and performance tuning.
• Ensure compliance with IT standards, cybersecurity policies, and industry regulations.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the solution lifecycle, from planning to deployment.
• Evaluate and recommend new Maximo modules, IBM Watson integrations, and industry-specific solutions (e.g., Utilities, Transportation, Oil & Gas).

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Maximo, including 3+ years in a solution architect or lead role.
• Deep knowledge of Maximo architecture, workflows, MIF (Maximo Integration Framework), and configuration tools.
• Proficiency in Java, SQL, WebSphere/Liberty, and integration with ERP, GIS, or SCADA systems.
• Familiarity with Maximo Application Suite (MAS), Maximo Mobile, and both cloud and on-prem deployments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with industry-specific Maximo solutions
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, automation scripts, BIRT/Cognos reporting tools
• Understanding of ITIL and enterprise asset management frameworks
