$140,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Application Solutions Architect to lead strategic application rationalization initiatives and guide our organization in modernizing and optimizing its application landscape. This role demands deep analytical insight, governance expertise, and an ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to create impactful outcomes. Having a background in application road mapping and application development is extremely important. Candidates that apply must have prior experience interacting with high level executives.

This role is full time/direct hire with a salary range of 140-160K. The role is 100% remote, could require some limited travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead application rationalization efforts to evaluate and reduce the application portfolio.
  • Develop detailed roadmaps for application decommissioning aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.
  • Design and implement scalable application governance frameworks to ensure long-term value.
  • Conduct comprehensive data collection, analysis, and documentation to support decision-making.
  • Integrate change management activities with application lifecycle projects to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Provide strategic input into data governance structures—defining key considerations and contributing to future-state visioning.
  • Translate current-state assessments into actionable plans for achieving target-state application ecosystems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4 - 5 + years of experience working in the consulting space
  • 7- 10 + years of experience in application consulting, application management, or IT strategy roles.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL Server and relational databases.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data governance strategy, implementation, and operational support.
  • Ability to form and communicate a clear point of view on governance and rationalization best practices.
  • Proven experience in conducting data discovery and understanding end goals in complex environments.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with ServiceNow APM and application rationalization is highly desirable.
