IDEA Public Schools is seeking dedicated teachers to ensure every student masters academic and social skills essential for college success. Teachers will set ambitious goals, track data, and refine daily lesson plans to provide rigorous coursework and opportunities for college credit through dual enrollment, AP, or IB programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution (required)
• Teaching certification or state license strongly preferred
• K-12 classroom experience preferred
• State certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Implement state learning standards and IDEA curricula and assessments
• Deliver grade-level content and core objectives
• Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance for feedback
• Track student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Communicate student progress with families weekly
• Manage classroom behavior and foster a positive learning environment
• Participate in meetings and after-school activities
• Engage in ongoing professional development
