Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions in Morristown, NJ is seeking an Account Collection Associate for our IB&M team on a hybrid schedule. You will handle billing, payment processing, reconciliation, and direct collection of accounts to secure timely payments.

The role requires a high school diploma with 1–3 years in billing/collections, with responsibilities including statements, cash application, and negotiation of payment plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with demonstrated experience required.
• 1-3 years billing and collection services or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all billing and collection activity of receivables for assigned accounts.
• Independently prepares and issues Statement of Accounts.
• Ensures receipt, analyzes, and processes account/statements.
• Accountable to receive payments within credit terms for assigned territory and accurately applies cash application and cash disbursement.
• Takes necessary steps to reconcile and resolve differences on an individual or account level.
• Writes off aged receivables within corporate guidelines, along with the preparation of supporting documentation
• Negotiates payment plans and settlements within corporate guidelines
• Prepares and distributes monthly reports.
• Handles a variety of administrative tasks as needed.
