Job summary

Edmonds School District is hiring a Paraeducator IB for 1:1 intensive support in IS, ISES, ILS, and DK classrooms. The role involves instructional support, materials prep, progress monitoring, and behavior plan implementation.

The position is non-continuing for the 2026-2027 school year with a 5.9-hour day and non-exempt status; hourly rate ranges from $32.76 to $36.67, under the 2026-27 salary schedule.

Qualifications

• Be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Meet one of the following: associate degree or higher; 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at 100 level or higher; paraeducator apprenticeship; PESB assessments: Pearson Paraprofessional or Master Teacher Paraeducator Online Training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in intensive learning support classrooms or other K-12 environments.
• Prepare educational materials and monitor student progress.
• Collect data and implement behavior plans; provide supervision and instructional support.
