Job summary

Hidden River Middle School in Snohomish, WA is hiring a Paraeducator – Specialized Instructional - 1:1 Student Support. The role supports students with varying needs under supervision and reports to the Building Principal.

Position is part-time (Salary: $28.53–$33.13 per hour as of 2025-26), with a 180-day calendar, 6.5 hours per day, and multiple requirements including First Aid/CPR, CPI, and ESSA criteria. Apply through Monroe SD Human Resources.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a HS diploma or equivalent.
• Meet one of: AA or higher, 72 quarter credits, apprenticeship, or PESB test.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructional personnel with presentation of learning materials.
• Work with students with a wide range of disabilities and behaviors.
• Tutor individuals or small groups to reinforce learning.
• Monitor and assist students on instructional activities and plans.
• Model appropriate behavior and maintain confidentiality.
