Job summary

Applied Intuition in Sunnyvale, CA seeks a hands-on Technical Lead to own identity end-to-end, from foundational IDP architecture through privileged access, secrets management, and access governance for AI agents.

This senior IC will set direction, drive implementation, and serve as the primary identity expert across the organization, partnering with engineering, security, IT, and compliance to deliver enterprise-grade access controls, SSO, and trust across clouds.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in identity/security engineering.
• Hands-on cloud architecture across AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Led complex IAM programs from design to production.
• Deep IAM tech: LDAP/AD, IDPs, federation, SAML/OIDC/OAuth 2.0.
• Zero Trust identity models and PAM experience.
• IGA tooling, role lifecycle management, and governance.
• Secrets management platforms knowledge: Vault, AWS/GCP.
• Non-human identity management at scale.
• Access controls for AI workloads and service accounts.
• SCIM provisioning and automated IGA workflows.
• Excellent communication to align with non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term IAM strategy, roadmap, and operating model.
• Mature IDP architecture, drive scalable design.
• Advance Zero Trust, secure by default.
• Automate identity lifecycle beyond JML processes.
• Implement RBAC for human and non-human identities.
• Define least-privilege policies across systems.
• Centralize secrets management across cloud and enterprise.
• Design and deliver PAM for admin accounts.
• Support access management for AI agents and bots.
• Collaborate on SSO across the enterprise.
• Own authentication protocols: SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0.
• Work with IT/security/compliance to satisfy audits.
• Translate complex requirements into actionable plans.
