Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a seasoned Identity and Access Management (IAM) Platform Engineer to design and operate scalable authentication and authorization services across Linux, macOS, and Windows environments.

You will work with Golang or Python, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and PKI to deliver policy-driven security foundations within a zero-trust framework, collaborating with security, infra, and software engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in industry, 5+ in distributed SaaS/PaaS/IaaS.
• 5+ years in high-availability environments (99.999% uptime).
• Experience designing distributed systems on AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Proficient in Golang and/or Python.
• Security protocols: TLS, OAuth, SAML; PKI.
• REST and OpenAPI/Swagger familiarity.
• Strong DevOps, CI/CD ownership.
• Experience on Linux and Windows.
• CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CodePipeline/CodeBuild.
• Familiar with large-scale IaaS platforms.
• Git experience.
• Docker and Kubernetes hands-on.
• Strong communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable auth services for distributed environments.
• Develop and maintain system software for Linux, macOS, Windows.
• Implement and operate large-scale security services with Golang or Python.
• Integrate TPM-based device attestation mechanisms.
• Contribute to PKI-based platform security solutions.
• Build and manage containerized workloads with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform.
• Operate services in a full DevOps model; monitor and troubleshoot.
• Work in an Agile team delivering iteratively and collaboratively.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure platform integrity.
