Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an IAM contractor in Milwaukee, WI to lead cross‑department collaboration across authentication, authorization, and user provisioning. You will apply IAM best practices, stay current with technologies, and help plan and execute initiatives.

The role requires 3+ years in IAM, project management experience, and a bachelor's in IT or related field. Strong communication, initiative, and analytical skills are essential; hybrid work and competitive hourly pay are offered.

Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) domains and will work across various IAM departments. This role requires project management experience, strong initiative, and the ability to produce and analyze metrics and reports.

Collaborate with various IAM departments to support the implementation and maintenance of IAM solutions, ensuring consistent practices across the organization. Apply knowledge of IAM domains, including authentication, authorization, and user provisioning, while staying updated with the latest IAM technologies and best practices. Support IAM projects by assisting with project planning, coordinating resources, and providing updates to stakeholders to ensure timely progress. Identify and address IAM-related issues and opportunities for improvement, proposing and implementing solutions to enhance IAM processes and security.

Qualifications:

• Education and Experience:




• Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).




• 3 years of experience in IAM or a related field.




• Project management experience.




• Technical Skills:




• Strong understanding of IAM concepts and technologies.




• Familiarity with IAM tools like Active Directory, Azure AD, Okta, etc.




• Knowledge of security protocols like LDAP, SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.




• Soft Skills:




• Strong initiative and ability to work independently.




• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.




• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
