Job summary

The Northern Trust Company is seeking a Lead, Identity & Access Management (IAM) Automation & Strategy in Chicago. You will drive automation and Digital Coworker capabilities, partnering with engineering, security, product, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities, develop scalable solutions, and advance IAM modernization initiatives using the Tines platform.

This role combines hands-on automation with strategic planning to improve efficiency, security, and user experience across IAM.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, IT, CS, Engineering, or related field.
5–10 years of experience in Cyber Security, Identity & Access Management, Automation Engineering, or related disciplines.
Hands-on experience developing automation workflows using the Tines platform.
Experience integrating enterprise applications using APIs and automation frameworks.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions for IAM processes.
Build and maintain workflows using the Tines automation platform.
Develop integrations between IAM platforms, security tools, and enterprise apps.
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and reduce risk.
Analyze workflows and contribute to roadmaps and governance.
Create dashboards and reporting to measure automation impact.
