Job summary

Waymo seeks a Technical Program Manager to oversee access-management programs for the Global Extended Workforce, partnering with Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Business Leadership to translate security standards into scalable workflows.

In this hybrid role, you will collaborate across Tool Owners and Engineers to develop tooling, enforce least-privilege, and automate processes with an AI-first approach, shaping secure and efficient access across platforms.

Qualifications

• Audit code-managed configurations and update access updates and policy tweaks to provide access paths today and in the future.
• Deep IAM expertise with enterprise identity frameworks such as Okta, SailPoint, and Google Cloud IAM.
• Proven ability to proactively identify access security risks, build mitigation plans, and track risk-reduction metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end access-management processes for Global Extended Workforce.
• Develop tooling and automation with Engineering to simplify access paths and drive efficiency.
• Lead proactive risk-reduction initiatives and enforce strict least privilege models.
• Deliver simplified future state access programs with milestones and clear ownership.
• Collaborate with Engineers, Tool Owners, Cybersecurity, and Business Leadership to translate security standards into workflows.
• Automate workflows to replace manual bottlenecks using an AI-first approach.
