GEICO is seeking an Independent Agent Territory Sales Manager to drive growth of GEICO and affiliated products within a defined area, managing independent agencies and expanding agency distribution. This role requires active collaboration with agency partners to implement local marketing plans and strategies.

Candidate must reside in or near the territory (Arkansas and Oklahoma) with up to 40% travel; a bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of sales or relevant insurance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of sales or insurance experience.
• Prior success owning and driving sales results.
• Experience with multiple insurance lines is a plus (P&C, Commercial, Life & Health).

Responsabilités

• Manage independent agencies within a designated area using in-person, virtual, phone, and email to build relationships, deliver training, and monitor agency performance.
• Act as subject matter expert on GEICO and GEICO-affiliated products, features, and tools while understanding competitor offerings to increase GEICO’s product preference.
• Translate national strategic initiatives into local goals to increase agent engagement, execution, and growth.
• Conduct training of agency staff on GEICO products, services, and value proposition; counsel agents and, with leadership, take disciplinary action as needed.
