Job summary

Sunoco LP seeks an Electrical Technician A to provide instrument and electrical support for construction, plant facilities, and field operations across liquid facilities and pipelines. You will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on control systems, PLCs, SCADA, meters, valves, and related equipment; read manuals and drawings; comply with safety and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 5+ years electrical repair experience in petroleum or chemical facilities with proficiency in instrument systems (DCS/PLC/SCADA, gas detection, process analyzers, control valves, pressure/flow, vibration).
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on control, measurement, and instrumentation equipment.
• Repair and calibrate meters, valves, transmitters, and actuators.
• Troubleshoot automated facility control equipment and programs.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, EPA and company procedures.
