Job summary

Sunoco LP in Corpus Christi is seeking an Electrical Technician to provide instrument and electrical technical support for construction, plant facilities, and field operations. You will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform predictive and preventative maintenance on control systems, pump stations, SCADA, and related equipment.

The role requires 5+ years in electrical repair in petroleum/chemical facilities, with DCS/PLC/SCADA expertise, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' electrical repair experience in petroleum or chemical facilities.
• Proficiency with DCS/PLC/SCADA, gas detection and process analyzers.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Ability to read manuals, P&IDs, and loop sheets.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on control, measurement, and instrumentation equipment.
• Troubleshoot and program automated facility control equipment.
• Repair and maintain meters, valves, transmitters, and actuators.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, USCG, EPA and safety procedures.
• Maintain records and participate in emergency response if needed.
