Job summary

Celgard, LLC in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Instrument & Electrical Technician to join the Maintenance team. The role rotates from days to nights, with shifts six months each, reporting to the I&E Supervisor and no direct reports.

You will calibrate and maintain electrical systems, troubleshoot drives and control systems, and support new equipment installations. This position requires travel up to 10% for training and site support.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform diagnostics and setup of PLC & AC inverter drives.
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically for training and visits.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical calibrations and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical power systems, motor drives, control systems, and instruments.
• Identify and safely use test equipment (voltmeters, ohmmeters, current meters, oscilloscopes).
• Disassemble, clean, reassemble production equipment and verify instrument installation.
