Job summary

INEOS Aromatics in Wando, South Carolina is seeking an I&E Maintenance Technician to maintain instrumentation, electrical equipment, and control systems to support safe, reliable plant operations.

You will calibrate process instrumentation, troubleshoot PLCs, repair valves, read schematics, and coordinate with operations; the role includes on-call support and a registered DOL apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience reading detailed operating and safety procedures.
• Ability to relocate or commute to the INEOS Cooper River Plant.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on electrical and electronic equipment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
• Calibrate process control instrumentation and analyzers.
• Remove, troubleshoot, repair and install automated process control valves.
• Maintains process equipment in accordance with established procedures and processes.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with operations personnel.
• Support emergency plant needs on day shift and provide 24-hour on-call assistance during off hours.
• Provide I&E support to unit engineering functions.
• Assist in equipment troubleshooting activities and root cause failure analysis.
• Complete work documentation such as paperwork and computer system entries.
