The role emphasizes maintaining machine uptime, data integrity, and quality by ensuring reliable control systems, with responsibilities spanning control systems, instrumentation calibration, and electrical power systems in a 12-hour rotating shift

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair PLC hardware and software (Allen-Bradley/Siemens) including ladder logic and RSLogix 5000.
• Diagnose and fix industrial control networks ensuring reliable PLC/HMI communication with VFDs and data systems.
• Maintain backups of PLC programs, HMIs, and configuration files to protect production continuity.
• Perform routine and preventive calibration of process instruments (pressure, temp, flow, level, 4-20mA, HART).
• Install/repair field devices (sensors, solenoids, valves) and calibration equipment.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures and NFPA 70E safety standards for all electrical work.
• Support machine-vision systems used for end-of-line quality checks and threshold tuning.
