Job summary

ELLWOOD Aluminum is seeking an Electronic Tech Team Member to identify and repair equipment malfunctions and to calibrate and perform preventive maintenance on systems. You’ll read blueprints and engineering instructions to assemble and service electronic units.

The role includes PLC programming changes (Allen Bradley, Siemens), VFD configuration, instrument calibration, and troubleshooting with minimal downtime. A strong team focus and attention to safety are essential.

Qualifications

Reading blueprints, diagrams, and engineering instructions is required.
Two years of repair and maintenance experience in electrical/electronic systems preferred.
Must understand electrical theory and IT networking basics.

Responsibilities

Perform PLC programming changes and modifications (Allen Bradley, Siemens preferred).
Program VFDs and HMI interfacing; configure drives and panels.
Calibrate instrumentation (4-20 mA, DC loops, digital).
Troubleshoot electrical components, PLCs, and controls with minimal downtime.
Service electronic equipment by testing and replacing faulty parts.
Maintain equipment logs and assist with system improvements.
