Job summary
Austin Powder is seeking an E&I Technician to support electrical and instrumentation systems in a plant environment in the United States. The role reports to the E&I Maintenance Supervisor located in McArthur, Ohio, and emphasizes reliability-centered maintenance practices.
Responsibilities include installing, calibrating, and maintaining electrical equipment up to 480V, diagnosing faults with multimeters and diagnostic tools, and performing preventative and predictive maintenance on motors,
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience as an I&E/controls/automation technician.
- Experience with industrial PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and instrumentation.
- Proficiency with multimeters and diagnostic tools.
- Familiarity with CMMS and reliability-centered maintenance practices.
- Experience with industrial communication protocols and robotics preferred.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment up to 480V.
- Diagnose faults using multimeters, ohm meters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on motors, drives, and MCCs.
- Troubleshoot and repair VFDs and motor control circuits.
- Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation.
- Perform loop checks and verification of control system functionality.
