Job summary

Envases Commerce, LLC in Waco, TX is seeking an Instrumentation & Electronics (I&E) Technician to install, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot plant instrumentation, PLCs, HMIs, and high-speed sensing equipment on a 24/7 aluminum end manufacturing line. This role ensures machine uptime and data integrity across critical control systems.

In this high-speed environment you will work with Allen-Bradley/SIemens PLCs, perform routine calibration, replace sensors, and support electrical power

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: 3-5 years maintaining instrumentation and electronic controls in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
Proficient in reading electrical schematics, P&IDs, and ladder logic; Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC hardware.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair PLC hardware/software; monitor I/O; modify logic and upload/download programs safely.
Maintain and calibrate instrumentation: pressure, temperature, flow, level, transmitters (4-20mA, HART).
Troubleshoot electrical networks, MCCs, VFDs, and safety protocols (LOTO, NFPA 70E).
Maintain high-speed vision/inspection systems and support quality/production teams with system recipes.
