Job summary

ConocoPhillips is seeking an Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician for the Bakken asset area in Watford City or New Town, ND. You will troubleshoot, maintain, calibrate, install, and document I&E equipment, while supporting operations and safety programs.

The role requires safe work practices, strong teamwork, and willingness to travel within the site area. The position offers field-based responsibilities with the potential for on-call shifts and a rotating schedule, emphasizing

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Current/valid driver's license.
• Willing to relocate within 50 miles of Watford City or New Town, ND.
• Able to climb ladders and stairs up to 50 feet; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work on-call, overtime and rotation.
• Committed to safety, environmental protection and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, inspection, calibration and troubleshooting of instrumentation and electrical equipment on Bakken assets.
• Complete documentation and SAP notifications for maintenance activities.
• Support commissioning of new equipment and facilities; verify loop/logic checks.
• Keep accurate records, reports, and equipment history; assist root-cause analysis.
• Respond to emergencies; participate in safety and regulatory trainings.
