Job summary

Delta Constructors in Tioga, North Dakota, is seeking an I&E Maintenance Technician to install, test, calibrate and repair control systems equipment. This full-time role requires reading schematics, wiring enclosures, and performing preventive maintenance on process instrumentation.

The candidate must have 3 years in electrical instrumentation, a valid driver's license, OSHA 10, and ND Apprentice certification or the ability to obtain. Schedule is 5 days/week, 12 hours/day, onsite in Tioga.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• Three (3) years experience in the electrical instrumentation field.
• Current and valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Current OSHA 10 or ability to obtain upon hire.
• North Dakota locations only: North Dakota Electrical Apprentice Certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets electrical schematics, BOM drawings, engineering prints or verbal/written instructions.
• Lays out, machines, populates and wires electrical control enclosures.
• Assembles mechanical or pneumatic components as required.
• Performs inspection and repairs on control systems.
• Performs preventive maintenance on process instrumentation.
• Troubleshoots instrumentation problems in the field.
• Calibrates instruments using proper test equipment.
• Maintains environment with replacements, alignments and calibration to specs.
• Installs new control circuits and modifies existing instrument/electrical systems as requested.
• Assists with cable, tray, and equipment installation.
• Attends training sessions and required educational classes.
