Job summary

INEOS Pigments USA in Ashtabula, Ohio, is seeking a seasoned I&E Planner to organize maintenance work packages. This salaried, day-shift role focuses on instrumentation and electrical projects, coordinating internal and external resources, BOMs, tools, and subcontractors to ensure timely, safe execution.

You will prepare work orders, assess scope, estimate manpower, and monitor labor versus estimates while aligning with maintenance guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience with exposure to I&E Maintenance in a manufacturing environment, preferably chemical.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and P&ID’s.
• Experience with SAP, storeroom, and purchasing modules.
• Ability to work unsupervised with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create job packages/work orders for maintenance actions focusing on instrumentation and electrical projects for Plant 1.
• Prepare planning for work orders: scope, drawings, procedures, materials, tools, and labor estimates.
• Lead or participate in sourcing, bidding and requisitioning third party services.
• Coordinate contractor utilization, write change orders, and participate in pre/post job reviews.
• Update orders and maintain BOMs; ensure alignment with maintenance guidelines.
• Monitor execution vs. plan; develop and maintain future job plan files; solicit feedback.
