Job summary

INEOS Pigments in Ashtabula, OH, is seeking a Maintenance Planning & Work Management Superintendent to lead maintenance planning, scheduling, and continuous improvement. You will work with Operations, Reliability, Engineering, and Maintenance Supervisors to boost asset reliability and productivity.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 7+ years in chemical manufacturing, strong knowledge of pumps, piping, vessels, and instrumentation, and familiarity with SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of related experience in a chemical or petrochemical manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong engineering skills with knowledge of process equipment including pumps, compressors, piping systems, pressure vessels, metallurgy, exchangers, instrumented systems, and relief valves.

Responsibilities

• Own the site's maintenance work management process.
• Direct and coach Maintenance Planners.
• Ensure work orders are properly scoped and planned; verify labor estimates, materials, permits, and procedures.
• Coordinate weekly maintenance schedules with Operations; manage shutdown and turnaround planning activities.
• Improve planned versus reactive work ratios and wrench time; reduce emergency work.
• Standardize maintenance planning practices across departments; monitor backlog health and prioritization.
