Job summary

CF Industries in Indiana is seeking an I&E Maintenance Technician to provide technical skill and guidance to execute Instrument & Electrical maintenance, and to support project construction across Distribution Facilities. You will install and maintain I&E equipment, supervise contractors, train operations staff, and help establish preventative maintenance programs.

The role requires 5–10 years of experience, a strong background in instrumentation and PLC/HMI, and willingness to travel 70–80%.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in plant Instrument & Electrical department or related work.
• Hands-On experience with control panel and field wiring.
• Familiarity with PID loops and tuning preferred.
• Knowledge of MOCs, PSSRs, PHAs and LOPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides project design, installation, and associated documentation.
• Installs and maintains Instrument & Electrical equipment throughout Distribution Facilities.
• Assists engineering and/or other I&E personnel on projects.
• Supervises external Instrument & Electrical contractors when major work is performed.
• Develops and maintains facility process documentation such as P&IDs and electrical prints.
• Trains operations' personnel in troubleshooting Instrument & Electrical equipment.
