Job summary

CF Industries' I&E Maintenance Technician provides technical skill and guidance to execute Instrument and Electrical maintenance and supports Sr. Coordinators with new project construction at Distribution Facilities.

Incumbents must have 5–10 years of experience in plant I&E, with instrumentation and controls expertise, PLC/HMI installations, AutoCAD, and the ability to travel 70–80%; the position includes an incentive program and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in plant Instrument & Electrical department or related work.
• Deep background in instrumentation and controls with emphasis on PLC/HMI installations.
• AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Willing to travel 70–80%.
• OSHAs process safety management knowledge preferred.
• Have or able to obtain a TWIC card and passport.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and document Instrument & Electrical projects.
• Install and maintain Instrument & Electrical equipment throughout Distribution Facilities.
• Supervise external Instrument & Electrical contractors for major work.
• Develop and maintain facility P&IDs and electrical prints.
• Train operations personnel in troubleshooting Instrument & Electrical equipment and safety.
