Job summary

CF Industries is seeking an I&E Maintenance Technician to provide hands-on Instrument and Electrical maintenance and support project construction across Distribution Facilities. You will design, install, test, and document I&E systems, train operations staff, and supervise contractors as major work occurs.

Strong background in instrumentation and controls (PLC/HMI), AutoCAD, field wiring, and calibration loops is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years in instrument & electrical maintenance or related work.
• Background in instrumentation and controls with PLC/HMI focus.
• Experience with control panels and field wiring.
• Familiar with PID tuning and calibration loops.
• Willingness to travel 70-80% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide project design, installation, and documentation.
• Install and maintain Instrument & Electrical equipment across facilities.
• Assist engineering and I&E personnel on projects.
• Supervise external I&E contractors during major work.
• Develop and maintain P&IDs and electrical prints.
• Train operations staff in I&E troubleshooting.
• Support preventative maintenance programs and recordkeeping.
