Job summary

Nouryon in La Porte, TX seeks an Instrumentation & Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to lead I&E maintenance activities ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective plant operations.

You will supervise maintenance personnel, oversee daily activities and contractor performance, develop maintenance strategies, and drive improvements in equipment reliability; strong troubleshooting and knowledge of electrical power systems and safety are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED and 10+ years of I&E experience.
• Minimum 8 years in maintenance, with supervisory experience required.
• Ability to troubleshoot, specify and design control systems and instrumentation.
• Capable of troubleshooting and designing electrical power systems up to 480V; basic radiation safety knowledge.
• Familiarity with 12.47kV – 138kV maintenance and design is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop maintenance personnel to build capable teams.
• Oversee daily maintenance activities, schedules and contractor performance.
• Develop and implement equipment maintenance strategies to improve reliability and reduce costs.
• Ensure preventive maintenance is documented, scheduled, and completed on time.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement improvements.
• Ensure electrical safety and proper maintenance of site power distribution equipment.
