Job summary

Nouryon is hiring an Instrumentation & Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to lead I&E maintenance in a plant setting, ensuring safe, reliable operations. You will supervise maintenance personnel, oversee daily tasks, and drive cost‑effective reliability improvements.

The role requires 10+ years of I&E experience (8+ in maintenance), mandatory supervision, and ability to design control and electrical systems up to 480V, with basic radiation safety knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 10+ years of I&E experience, with at least 8 in maintenance organizations.
• Supervision experience mandatory.
• Ability to troubleshoot, specify and design control systems and instrumentation.
• Ability to troubleshoot, specify, and design electrical power systems up to 480V.
• Basic understanding of radiation safety related to fixed gauges.
• Basic understanding of 12.47kV–138kV maintenance and design.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop maintenance personnel, ensuring the team has the appropriate skills and capabilities.
• Oversee daily maintenance activities, schedules, and contractor performance to ensure efficient execution.
• Develop and implement equipment maintenance strategies to improve reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
• Ensure preventive maintenance activities are properly documented, scheduled, and completed on time.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement improvements to maintenance practices and equipment reliability.
• Ensure electrical safety and proper maintenance of site power distribution equipment in compliance with regulations and company standards.

About the job

The Maintenance I&E Supervisor will lead instrumentation and electrical maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective plant operations. Responsibilities include supervising and developing maintenance personnel, overseeing daily maintenance execution, improving equipment reliability, ensuring preventive maintenance compliance, supporting capital projects, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations and electrical standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive I&E maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to lead teams in a plant environment.
