Williams Companies, Inc. is seeking an Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Operations Technician II-III to join our safety‑driven team. You will work on complex gas process equipment, perform advanced instrumentation maintenance, and lead projects with strong mentorship to less experienced technicians.

Expect to troubleshoot, calibrate, and optimize control systems while supporting reliability initiatives. The role requires a high school diploma or GED with relevant experience, and preference for

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: Associate or 2-year technical degree.
• Experience as an Operations Technician or similar role in oil and gas.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex maintenance and operational tasks with gas process equipment and systems.
• Minimizes unplanned shutdowns through root cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Fixes and maintains process control systems and instrumentation.
• Programs modifications and diagnostics for Allen-Bradley PLCs and control systems to improve performance.
• Provides technical guidance to less experienced technicians and supports reliability improvements.
