Job summary

AE2S is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Project Manager to lead I&C and SCADA projects in the Denver and Colorado market. You will manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risk while coordinating across multi-disciplinary teams, including field startup support and client engagements.

The role emphasizes hands-on technical leadership, proposal support, and collaboration with owner operations staff to deliver maintainable automation solutions. Travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems.
• Experience with programming, start-up, commissioning, and service of complex I&C systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage scope, schedule and budget on projects.
• Ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams and communicate with clients clearly.
• Willingness to travel for project responsibilities and business development.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager for I&C and SCADA projects (upgrades, expansions, conversions, and new facilities).
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, change management, risk, and coordination across stakeholders.
• Lead client meetings, develop agendas/minutes, and communicate progress and decisions.
• Support proposals, task orders, and staffing plans; contribute to fee development.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, civil, and electrical teams to integrate automation requirements.
