Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer II for OEM pollution-control equipment. This role offers remote or hybrid work flexibility in the United States and involves designing control systems, reviewing P&IDs, selecting equipment, and developing I/O lists for industrial air-pollution projects.

You will work with Siemens, Rockwell, GE, and Modicon platforms, program PLCs, design panels, and support field service teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering from an accredited program.
• Experience designing control panels using relay and PLC control logic.
• Hands-on PLC programming experience with Siemens, Rockwell, GE, or Modicon platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and lay out custom instrumentation and control systems for industrial air-pollution control equipment.
• Review P&IDs, process-control narratives, instrument lists, and project requirements with project engineers.
• Program PLCs using ladder logic or function block programming.
• Design control panels using relay-based and PLC-based logic.
• Travel domestically and internationally to support customers and assigned business lines.
