Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services LLC is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineer to design, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize instrumentation and control systems across gas compression and power generation facilities.

The role collaborates with engineering, operations, and vendors to meet Kodiak standards and customer requirements, supporting FAT, SAT, and field performance verification. Some travel and field presence are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline related to instrumentation, controls, or electrical engineering.
• 3–7 years of experience designing or supporting industrial instrumentation and control systems.
• Experience with natural gas compression, power generation, or related facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, specify, and support instrumentation and control systems for gas compression packages, stations, and power facilities.
• Develop and maintain control philosophies, I/O lists, loop drawings, and P&IDs.
• Support PLC, HMI, SCADA architectures, programming, and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot control systems and facilitate field startup, FAT/SAT, and commissioning.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and vendors to deliver integrated solutions.
