Job summary

Actalent is seeking an I&C Supervisor to lead the Instrumentation and Electrical team in Kapolei, HI. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance and repair activities for instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems across facilities.

Ensures compliance with regulations and industry standards while supporting 24/7 emergency response. The position requires hands-on experience, leadership skills, and strong collaboration with contractors; on-site work in Kapolei,

Qualifications

• Vocational or trade school certification or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with instrumentation, control systems, and/or electrical systems.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of instrumentation, electrical, and control system equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance work with outside contractors and resolve contractor-related issues.
• Administer maintenance procedures, shutdown/turnaround plans, inspection/testing procedures, permitting, and safety protocols.
• Review specs/drawings to support purchase/installation of automated instrumentation systems.
• Develop cost estimates and coordinate procurement of parts, tools, and materials.
• Maintain equipment in CMMS and analyze maintenance data to recommend repairs.
• Train personnel on testing equipment, troubleshooting methods, and control systems.
