Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with instrumentation, control systems, and/or electrical systems.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Vocational or trade school certification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee personnel and activities related to installation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of instrumentation, electrical, and control system equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance work with outside contractors and resolve contractor-related issues.
• Administer and enforce maintenance procedures, shutdown/turnaround plans, inspection and testing procedures, permitting requirements, and safety protocols.
• Review specifications and drawings to support purchase and installation of automated instrumentation systems for new or improved operations.
• Develop cost estimates and coordinate procurement of necessary parts, tools, and materials.
• Maintain equipment information within CMMS and analyze maintenance data to recommend repair solutions.
• Train or coordinate training for personnel on testing equipment, troubleshooting methods, and control system hardware/software.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations as well as industry standards.
