Job summary

Southern Nuclear is seeking an Electrical/I&C Design Engineer to join the Fleet Central Design Organization in Birmingham, AL. The role focuses on engineering analysis, equipment specifications, design change packages, and support for capital projects within a nuclear fleet.

You will oversee I&C plant design software, engage with vendors, and promote standard approaches for design and analysis while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.
• PE license preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of electrical/IA&D design practices for nuclear facilities is expected.
