Job summary

Classic Hyundai & Genesis Hampton is seeking an experienced automotive tag & title clerk. The role requires attention to detail, proactive organization, and strong administrative and customer service skills to manage vehicle registration processes.

Experience in tag & title is required. The dealership emphasizes growth and internal promotion as part of Mills Auto Group.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of title processes.
• Experience with tag & title software VITU/Titletec preferred but NOT required.
• Proficient with standard computer software and accounting software.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit legal transfer documents, title applications, and trade-in reassignments to the DMV.
• Issue temporary license plates, handle new/used vehicle registrations, and order permanent plates.
• Verify all paperwork is flawless, ensure funds are cleared, and confirm that proper lienholder information is recorded.
• Reconcile title-related accounting schedules, maintain outstanding title logs, and prepare customer and bank refund checks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Title Processing: Prepare and submit legal transfer documents, title applications, and trade-in reassignments to the DMV.
