Genesis of Suitland – Marlow Heights, MD is seeking a fully certified EV technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain Genesis and Hyundai EVs in a flat-rate shop. The role emphasizes high-voltage work, OEM protocols, and ongoing manufacturer training for state-of-the-art electric vehicles.

Qualifications

• Current Hyundai or Genesis EV/high-voltage certification is required for the sign-on bonus.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with modern scan tools and OEM software (GDS).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Genesis and Hyundai vehicles, including full battery-electric and hybrid models.
• Perform high-voltage system diagnostics and repairs following OEM safety protocols.
• Complete multi-point inspections and document findings accurately.
• Use factory-approved tools, equipment, and repair procedures.
• Communicate repair needs and recommendations to service advisors.
• Stay current with Genesis and Hyundai training and certification programs.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Genesis and Hyundai vehicles, including full battery-electric and hybrid models
• Perform high-voltage system diagnostics and repairs following OEM safety protocols
• Complete multi-point inspections and document findings accurately
• Use factory-approved tools, equipment, and repair procedures
• Communicate clearly with service advisors on repair needs and recommendations
• Stay current with Genesis and Hyundai training, technology, and certification programs
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work environment and deliver the premium experience Genesis customers expect

What You Bring

• Current Hyundai or Genesis EV / high-voltage certification (required for the sign-on bonus)
• Hyundai or Genesis Master or Senior certification preferred
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency with modern scan tools and OEM software (GDS)
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a flat-rate environment
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Reliability, a positive attitude, and a commitment to doing it right the first time
