Job summary

Genesis of Suitland in Marlow Heights, MD is seeking a Genesis/Hyundai EV-certified Automotive Technician for a full-time, flat-rate role. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain Genesis and Hyundai EVs, including battery-electric and hybrid models, using OEM tools and adhering to safety protocols.

We offer $50.00 per flat rate hour plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus for EV-certified technicians, paid over the first 12 months, along with a 90-day hours guarantee and comprehensive benefits in a modern

Qualifications

• Current Hyundai or Genesis EV/high-voltage certification (required for the sign-on bonus).
• Hyundai or Genesis Master or Senior certification preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with modern scan tools and OEM software (GDS).
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a flat-rate environment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Genesis and Hyundai vehicles, including full battery-electric and hybrid models
• Perform high-voltage system diagnostics and repairs following OEM safety protocols
• Complete multi-point inspections and document findings accurately
• Use factory-approved tools, equipment, and repair procedures
• Communicate clearly with service advisors on repair needs and recommendations
• Stay current with Genesis and Hyundai training, technology, and certification programs
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work environment and deliver the premium experience Genesis customers expect
