Job summary

Berman Hyundai in Lincolnwood, IL is seeking motivated technicians from semi-skilled to journeyman level to join a growing service team. Qualifications

• ASE Certifications required.
• At least 2 years of automotive repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic testing and troubleshooting for mechanical and electrical issues.
• Work with senior technicians on complex repairs including engine, transmission, and suspension work.
• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Hyundai vehicles per manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and drivability concerns.
• Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs efficiently with high-quality workmanship.
• Utilize Hyundai diagnostic equipment, service information, and special tools.
• Document repair orders thoroughly and accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Stay current with Hyundai training and service bulletins.

Berman Hyundai is seeking motivated and enthusiastic technicians at the Semi-Skilled through Journeyman level to join our dynamic and growing service team!

Location: Lincolnwood, IL
Pay Scale: $22 - $45.15/HR (Based on Experience, ASE Certifications, and/or Training)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with diagnostic testing and troubleshooting for both mechanical and electrical issues


• Work alongside senior technicians on more complex repairs, including engine, transmission, and suspension work


• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Hyundai vehicles according to manufacturer standards


• Accurately diagnose electrical, mechanical, and drivability concerns

Qualifications:

• ASE Certifications


• Atleast 2years of experience in an automotive repair or maintenance setting required. Enthusiasm for learning and hands-on technical work is essential.

• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and a willingness to learn and improve problem-solving techniques.
