Job summary

Berman Hyundai is seeking an experienced Hyundai Journeyman Technician (Union - Local 701) to join our service team in Lincolnwood, IL. Pay is $45.15 per flat rate hour, based on experience and certifications.

If you take pride in quality repairs and excellent customer service, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities include diagnosing complex vehicle concerns, performing diagnostics and repairs to Hyundai standards, and working with service advisors and parts staff.

Qualifications

• ASE certification required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean 3-year record.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Hyundai vehicles according to manufacturer standards.
• Accurately diagnose electrical, mechanical, and drivability concerns.
• Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Utilize Hyundai diagnostic equipment, service information, and special tools.
• Document repair orders thoroughly and accurately; maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work collaboratively with service advisors, parts personnel, and fellow technicians.
• Stay current with Hyundai training and technical service bulletins.
