Lockheed Martin Corporation in Huntsville, AL seeks a Systems Engineering Associate Manager to lead the HWIL team on the LRHW program, driving systems integration, test planning, and on-site execution to deliver a hypersonic operational system. You will mentor engineers, manage risk and schedules, and collaborate with Navigation, Guidance & Control, and Flight Software teams.

Qualifications

• Technical background in systems engineering and software engineering with hands-on Agile experience.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams in hardware-in-the-loop environments.
• Experience with system integration, test planning and verification in HWIL contexts.
• Strong ability to plan, coordinate, and execute complex engineering programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead HWIL team on LRHW program, overseeing systems integration, test planning, and on-site execution.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to systems engineers, fostering teamwork and growth.
• Coordinate planning, control, and completion of engineering projects within assigned area.
• Perform data reviews and feedback to test and integration teams.
• Collaborate with Navigation, G&C, Flight Software, and integration teams to ensure standards compliance.
• Be accountable for technical, cost, risk, and schedule outcomes of HWIL deliverables.
• Oversee personnel management tasks: performance reviews, timecards, career development, training.
• Coordinate recruitment, selection, training, and performance management of staff.
