Job summary

Leidos Defense in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead systems engineering for an active hypersonics production program. You will guide a small team (1–2 engineers) in requirements verification and coordinate with Hardware Development, Integration and Test to drive engineering efficiencies for follow-on success.

You will develop and review artifacts such as Requirements Specifications, Manufacturing Procedures, Engineering Reports, and MBSE content.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited bachelor or master degree in a relevant engineering field (8+ years)
Experience deriving requirements for integration, manufacturing, and production systems.
Capable of collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively within a team.
Resident of North Alabama or willing to relocate to Huntsville/North Alabama, AL area.
Possess a secret clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities
