Job summary

Stratolaunch, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to be a high-impact technical leader for hypersonic air vehicle programs in Mojave, CA. You will support the Chief Engineer, develop technical strategies, manage risk, and coordinate with vendors and customers across engineering disciplines.

The role requires strong communication, program integration experience, and the ability to handle open-ended technical challenges while aligning with program schedules and milestones.

Qualifications

• Sr Level range: $123,000–$153,700; Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) and 5–10 years of relevant experience.
• Staff Level range: $151,000–$185,700; Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) and 10–20 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to execute customer programs.
• Familiarity with aerodynamics, propulsion, avionics, structures, controls, and aero-thermodynamics.
• Support BOM development and vendor management for design and manufacturing.
• Assist test planning and flight/ground testing.
• Assist in proposals and planning.
• Support reviews and meetings like SRR, PDR, CDR.
