Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Director, Hypersonics Growth to lead and execute growth strategies across the hypersonics portfolio. This role partners with VP Kinetics Growth and senior leadership to identify opportunities and shape proposals for DoD, IC, and DOE programs.

You will own the growth division's budget and pipeline, develop win strategies, and maintain senior relationships with DoD Services, DARPA, DOE, and national security entities. US citizenship and TS/SCI clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience supporting DoD/DOE or national security programs.
• 8+ years in growth, capture management, or business development for complex programs.
• Demonstrated ability to lead competitive new business pursuits and drive contract awards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical, programmatic, financial, and acquisition stakeholders.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the hypersonics growth strategy aligned with business area objectives.
• Identify, qualify, and shape new opportunities from engagement through award.
• Serve as Business Development Lead for priority hypersonics pursuits.
• Develop win strategies, customer engagement plans, and teaming strategies.
• Establish and maintain senior-level customer relationships across DoD, DOE, and related organizations.
• Own and manage the division’s budget, staffing, and pipeline with forecast accuracy.
• Collaborate with technical and program leadership to align capabilities with requirements.
• Coordinate across business areas to drive integrated solutions.
• Support proposal development, including reviews and pricing alignment.
• Monitor market trends and acquisition strategies affecting hypersonics programs.
• Contribute to long-range planning and growth metrics.
