Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with complex experimental data sets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance (U.S. citizen).
• Hands-on experience with data analysis tools and lab test environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed test data reduction, analysis, uncertainty quantification, and interpretation for AEDC test programs.
• Support test planning activities including requirements definition and test matrix development.
• Analyze aeropropulsion performance, aerothermal environments, TPS response/ablation, and related phenomena.
• Generate clear technical products (plots, reports, briefings) for customer decision-making and reviews.
• Collaborate with government test engineers and contractors to resolve anomalies and improve test outcomes.
• Maintain and improve analysis tools, scripts, and processes for efficiency and rigor.
