Job summary

PeopleTec seeks a Mechanical / Aerospace Engineer for its Huntsville, AL team, focusing on flight testing, trajectory analysis, and modeling. You will work on hypersonics programs, missile defense, and weapon systems with an agile, collaborative group.

The role involves developing analysis tools, executing flight tests, and producing technically clear results for government customers. A DoD clearance is required and the team emphasizes research, development, and rapid problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering or related field and 5–8+ years in modeling and simulation, software, aerospace systems, and flight testing.
• Master’s or PhD may substitute for years of experience as described in the education section.
• Experience supporting DoD flight testing and systems development is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support trajectory analysis and flight test modeling to assess trajectory feasibility for hypersonic platforms.
• Contribute to planning, execution, and documentation of flight tests and data analysis.
• Develop and maintain engineering tools and algorithms for models and simulations used in flight testing.
• Collaborate with software and hardware teams to meet customer requirements and deliverables.
