Job summary

Canvas is seeking a Hypersonic Aeropropulsion Test Engineer to support the 715th Test Squadron at Arnold Air Force Base, Tullahoma, TN. This on-site role involves developing test plans, conducting analyses of hypersonic propulsion tests, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years of relevant experience, along with strong analytical skills and proficiency in MATLAB or Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in hypersonic aerodynamics and/or propulsion testing.
• Familiarity with ground test facilities and data acquisition systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review test plans and procedures for hypersonic propulsion system testing.
• Monitor and analyze test data in real-time.
• Prepare technical reports summarizing test results.
