Job summary

Canvas, Inc. is seeking an Test Analysis Engineer to provide T&E data analysis support for AEDC programs at Arnold AFB, TN. You will analyze hypersonic and propulsion test data, support test planning, and produce technical reports and briefings for decision-makers.

The role emphasizes MATLAB and Python-based analysis, collaboration across multiple teams, and readiness for high-speed, high-enthalpy test environments at AEDC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or closely related field.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
• Strong analytical skills with ability to work with complex experimental data.

Responsibilities

• Perform data reduction, uncertainty quantification, and interpretation for APTU and Arc Jet test programs.
• Support test planning including requirements definition and safety review packages.
• Analyze aeropropulsion performance, TPS response/ablation, and related phenomena.
• Create clear technical plots, reports, briefings, and data packages for decision-making.
